Since its inception as a Flower Festival in the 1970's with an ever-increasing programme of events, Fladbury villagers have proudly welcomed thousands of visitors (and locals) each year to share their "hidden treasures". The theme of the flower festival displays in the church this year is "TBA".

With its village green and two traditional hostelries Fladbury embraces one of the most picturesque stretches of river in the country, which can be seen to best advantage from a boat trip or by taking the wire ferry over to the mill and lock. Take a stroll around the open gardens and flower festival, or relax and enjoy the street entertainments. There will be something to delight all ages and tastes.

However you choose to spend the day you will be helping to raise valuable funds to maintain the fabric of our historic village churches and helping local charities.

Digital Photo Competition

Prizes of £15 will be awarded to the winner in each of the following categories, for photo's taken at the 2012 Walkabout and e-mailed to walkabout@fladbury.com by 31 July 2012.

Fundraising

Fladbury Festival and Walkabout is a charitable event which raises funds to support the maintenance and improvement of the parish churches together with other local causes.

Funds from the 2010 Walkabout also supported: -

The Friends of Pool Garden Community Group - raising funds for the refurbishment of the children's playground in Fladbury
